Ok, let´s keep that in mind thanks!jonas_linder wrote:
We run 380cc on jonas Ns engine, we dynoed 234hp with them maxed out. If I where you I would go for injectors closer to 300cc! That kkk26 is fairly large and will proably spoolup a bit late compaird to what power you're after! A smaller T25 or even GT17 will produce 200hp and spool faster![]()
It´s not designet yet, but I´m using 412 original cooling fan system so I think it´s going to be on top of the engine, where original injection plenum is located. I´m using original intakes from 2.0i Vanagon. Web #73 is going to be the cam.jonas_linder wrote: How is your plenum/intake system designed ? What kind of camshaft are you running?

Go for HD Dual springs for that cam(I've tried singles and it didn't do it
)
The original intakesystem with the original throttle will do fine (I'm assuming you want a drivable car
)
Look over the exhaustports, from my experience turbos like big exhaustports.. (just look at cars developed today!).
the KKK26 might not be a bad choice for power but a smaller gt17 would keep up to 200hp.
A more modern td04hl-15t(as found on saab 9-5 aero) would make a little less power then the kkk26 but would spool up quicker!
I must say I was very pleased with the overall performance om my last engine with #73 and my td04hl-15t, alot of power early. If the HD dual had been in it would have been higher numbers then the 156(at the wheels). With heads better then the stock vanagon heads that where used it would have made even more
#73 is a nice cam to use with a turbo

Yes, I think I´m in a right track -thanks for guiding!
I´m trying to manage with single springs. I´m going to assembly the grooved washers under the springs hoping tha t the springs does not get loose by heat. Cooling those springs by oil is in my mind also. I think there is available single springs tight enough. Did you measure the spring pressures of your previous engine? I´m curious to know what is NOT enough pressure.

This is a crosspost with this thread : http://www.shoptalkforums.com/viewtopic.php?p=746108
Got my heads half done via my friend last night
They are still rough and the final port work isn't done!
Got new JM-7 heads in them with one full radius and one 45 degree cut on them.
We where down at JPM (www.jpmotorsport.se) for their dynoday and I get them flowed.
Please give me your thought on this.
The flowfigures are cfm at 25"
lift -- intake -- exhaust -- i/e-ratio
2mm -- 40.1 -- 39.1 -- 97%
4mm -- 78,7 -- 61,4 -- 78%
6mm -- 110,8 -- 83,5 -- 75%
8mm -- 143,6 -- 103,7 -- 72%
10mm -- 167,9 -- 119,7 -- 71%
12mm -- 180,3 -- 132,7 -- 74%
14mm -- 190,4 -- 140,6 -- 74%
16mm -- 196,4 -- 146,6 -- 75%
Some pictures on the head

Well somewhere in the thread it says what I usebo wrote:how is your fuel injection working? i wanted to now what computer and brains do you have runng this deal?
But I will review it!
Injection
- Megasquirt v2 with the MS n Extra code
- 8 injectors at 286cc each
- 2.5bar mapsensor
- a "standard" (the one recommended by the makers of MS) Intake air temperature sensor
- Throttle position sensor from some ford
Ignition
- controlled via megasquirt
- distriubator from a 2.1L wasserboxer, No mechanical or vaccum advance.
- MSD 6A
It worked great! It's the same setup in Jonas Ns fastback!
Next setup will probably be ms v3 with 3bar mapsensor, bigger injectors, coil-on-plug(already have the coils), triggerwheel on the crank.
Is this the answere that you where looking for?!

The coil on plug is from a audi 1.8t enginePassatman wrote:Jonas what has happened to jonas n, also from which vehicle did you get the coil on plug setup from.
I was at his garage to 3am tonight doing some work on our racecar

Btw, his car was featured in a magazine here in Sweden, the issue came yesterday!
