May Off-Roader of the Month!

Offroad VW based vehicles have problems/insights all their own. Not to mention the knowledge gained in VW durability.

May Off-Roader of the Month!

Post by rickosuave1987 »

Ok guys, after a bit of deliberation and some technical difficulties...we have a new off roader of the month!

For the month of May we have: Birddog1148!!

He has been a huge help with getting the new flag project going. He is a good contributor in the forum as well.

Congrats Birddog...

the back with the new tires on.

the front with the old rear tires on it. Notice how the top of the tires stick out? Is that cause the suspensun was at full droop all winter?

Hey Congrats on another win!

Image

You've spent alot of time converting that purple bug. You've come up with alot of new ways of doing things.

I'll never forget your carb fix...
Image

Or when you welded your cat to the front bumper...
Image

Or making your son hold your offroad lights so you could see better...
Image

Then when you got "sick" after off-roading with jeep guys...
Image

And my all time favorite. Rudolf the red nosed roadkill...
Image

Congrats and thanks for keeping my attention!

Congrats BirdDog!

So...who converted you from TOS, anyhow?

I remember following your beam build. Great work!

And a pat on the back from me, too!

Thanks! I guess if I think really hard, Lotrat and Cooperbaja always had links to here on TOS and once I got here It just has a "Home-ier" feeling here, more positive, less negative. :D

My opinion is worth slightly less than what you paid for it.
