With Turbo and Super charging you can create massive horsepower with vw motors.

What would you guys suggest for this setup

The car i'm buying off this guy has a 2180 cc engine, with dual carbs, not sure idfs and all that stuff, just know that he spent 600 alone on the carbs, and over4 gs on the engine setup. Anyways, I want to go in the dirrection of makin this thing a screamer! So turbo seems a good way to go.

So, what do you guys recomend? as a good setup?

I would start be changing the cylinders to 90.5 mm from the 92 mm cylinders that it running. I have actually split a 92mm cylinder @ 25lbs. of boost. Granted you probably wont see 25lbs.(I didn't intend to) but I can imagine the distortion of the cylinders at 15 lbs. It's a bolt in deal and it would change the displacment from 2180 to 2110cc.

You could always try it NA and see how it goes. I have had good results with nicely built 92 bore engines, but none on boost.
If the 2180 runs well it should be enough to smoke lots of cars.
