Turbo progress post #1

I'm having a hard time staying motivated because of my job and a lack of enthusiasm from my friends. They seem to think my rail has plenty of power already. I think they have penis envy because my rail rocks. So here's what I'm going to do. I'm going to post weekly reports of my progress with pictures of the work I've completed or the components I've aquired. I am not sure if anyone else is trying to build a turbo system from scratch right now but maybe I can get some action going on this forum and we can share info as we go. I'll start this first post with what I've done up until now. First I have a 2056 type4 engine in a sandrail. It has dual webber 44's, a 911 fat fan setup, a mild rv cam (those are the cam specs I was given by the guy that built it), and stock 1.7 heads. I also have a custom built 091 transmission. As far as the new induction system I have purchased a T03 Airesearch turbo. I have been at pick and pull digging up parts like a 50mm throttle body from a Ford Taurus with the throttle position sensor, a high pressure fuel pump from a vw Rabbit, and I also found 4 fuel injectors from a Volvo. I can tell you the injectors are practically impossible to find because of their popularity. I settled for a lower flowing injector because that's all that was there. I should still be able to produce 200hp although my goal is 250. I'll add pictures to this post as soon as I get a chance.
