Talk to Dan at www.oceanstreetvideo.com
He runs the complete hide away CB blow through dual dell setup. He has some input that might make you think twice about blow through carbs.

Check with the folks from Competition Engineering http://www.ce-vw.com/ . They have a lot of experience with blow-thru carb turbo setups and may be able to modify the 40idfs. The problem with the 40's is they are built for a pressurized application and the throttle shafts will leak under boost.
