With the new A-1 T4 header nearly ready, and my less than perfect system failing I?m interested in a good system that is well fitted to a splitscreen.
Having damaged several aprons on my 66 transporter over 15 years of fitting sedan developed headers and exhaust, the difference in fit from a sedan is apparent.
I?ve exchanged Emails with both Tiger 714-836-7201 [email protected] A-1 in Orange County and Chris @Tangerineracing in Manchester CT http://www.tangerineracing.com/ . Both, or nether, have ever tried their system on a transporter but both appear willing to custom fit their system if a transporter is available. Unfortunately I?m in Seattle, 1500+ miles from the closest.
If there is a split screen transporter owner near ether shop with a serious interest there might be an opportunity to get the necessary tweaking done by the system designer/builder who has a real interest in seeing it done right. ( No deals were offered but access for any fixes would be a big plus.) Modifying a coated system would a bummer.
