===Baja Exhaust --- Link Below --- Questions===

Post by MNAirHead »

Hello.

I found this samba link to a baja exhaust.

This looks too good to be true --- any idea if it's one-off mfg or if someone sells it?

We're getting ready for our next conversion ---- 77 2.0 w/fuel injection.... looking for exhaust options

Any comments or suggestions greatly appreciated.

Are you going to do an upright conversion? If you are I will have a tri-mill exhaust for sale shortly.

Jake....

I've communicated with apokrandt

He's out of town until next week. I'll have him send it your way first for the test.... I've got a ton of body work to do before I can use it... not to mention it's soon to be -10 around here.

Then I'll send RAT a check for the parts I still have been too swamped to order (conversion kit).

I'm also looking for other used exhaust systems if anyone else can help... looking for a baja setups and something to go from a Porsche 1.7 into a full body sedan.

I'm also looking for offroad exhaust for my rail. I've a 2056 T4 with stock cooling and since the engine bay is open (rail buggy) I have a lot more (breathing:-) room for the headers. I would prefer a good used 4 into 1 system. I have the stub pipes (short pipe bolts to the exhaust port) so I could go with a system with or without them. Any of y'all have a T4 offroad exhaust system for sale?

straey8, I recently got some oval port stubs that fit my heads from ebay. I'm still looking something to attach to them. No luck yet so I'm still playing with the idea of making the headers myself.

The last I heard from you is you received those square port stubs and were on ebay bidding on some used bus headers. How did things work out??

Sorry to get off topic... I'm still looking for some used T4 offroad headers. I might even try to use T1 header, whack off the ends that attach to the heads, and fit them to my T4 stubs.

What does the Tri-mill T4 exhaust cost new? I would like to know if this is something I could afford when I do an upright conversion on my engine.
