It's the blue bug. Check it out. It is good to see jake upgrading the gene pool. (of the magazines that is) :)

Ah, TIs are cool too..... I have had more TI powered cars in magazines than TIV.

Yeah, I know what your saying, I just wish the mags would cover more TIV stuff. I don't know if it is a lack of interest on their part, the readers parts, or just a lack of TIV's or TIV converts.

probably lack of advertisers... The advertisers dictate! more than the readers!

If people knew about a TIV 50% of the 1776 engines would never be born!

I just finished a one year subscription to Hot VWs and I only remember seeing one Type 4 powered car and I didn't see any featured articles on T4 powered cars. OTH, I bought the Grassroots Motorsports' Project 914 back issue collection where they completely restored (and tweaked) a 2.0L 914 and those are the most enjoyable car magazine articles I've ever read.

I would agree, my friend has an all berg 1776 and just after reading a mag with a article on TIV's he said that he would of went with one of those in a heart beat if he knew it would have fit.
