I spent my days off at Jakes place, Got my engine parts balanced, and got to do it myself. That is one sweet machine he has up there. Jake was going in 10 different directions with the testing of the DTM T-1 and all the normal bussines. I got to help some with the testing. Run it hard, write it all down, break it down while it is still smoking hot and make some changes and bolt it back together(still hot) and then repeat the test. Then blow the drive shaft out of the dyno, work on the dyno, fix the dyno and get back to testing. Bolt on a different system (GOL) and test it. Repeat, repeat, repeat. There it some intense testing going on up there, you would have to see it to believe it. Hell I'm tired and I only saw 2 days of it.

My hands are burnt to a crisp, those damn 300 degree 13mm nuts are HELL on the fingers!

Are you saying that you have yet to get a T1 DTM to beat a stock cooling system? Or are you talking about other aftermarket T1 systems? I am hoping very much that you can get your T-1 DTM to be a big improvement over stock cooling.

I saw a bit of the level of dedication going into this shroud, and making it work. I was there for an hour or two on Thursday to drop off some parts, and about all I saw of Brent was his back, and elbows as he was busy installing, removing, or relocating vanes in the test shroud, and Jake was on the phone trying to locate a new yoke for the dyno.

As crazy as things were, Jake STILL took a few minutes to give me the dime tour, and talk shop. (many thanks, Jake)

This was just the first week of testing, and more than a few interruptions got in the way, I'm sure. I, myself was one interruption, following the dyno loosing it's drive yoke, and U-joint, among others.

Rome wasn't built in a day (or a week).
