The Type 3 "Cool Tin" has to be put on before the head and pushrods are installed.

You can't add them without taking the head off.

You need either the T3 "Cool Tin" or the stock Type 1 deflectors.

If you don't have either, then i'd do it.

Just tested it yesterday! 6 hours worth of testing!

engine ran 18 degrees hotter on the left bank, and 25 degrees hotter on the right bank immediately after it was installed. I tested it back to back with my DTM and the stock system and both results were the same. It also pulled 3 more HP from the engine.

Its hype, I always thought so... The dyno don't lie! I will be posting the spreadsheets as sooon as they are analyzed.

Jake,

You saying the engine ran 18 degrees hotter with the Type 3 Cool Tin than the Type 1 deflectors?

Jake... Thanks for setting the record straight. There's nothing like real world testing to prove what works and what doesn't.
