i have a vw gol fan/tinwork i'm wondering if you have tested the unit you have jake .i'm interested in the results before i swap out my 71 type 1 tinwork.if you have i've got some question about the unit and oil cooler

The testing is underway now. we got slowed down due to some oil leakage issues with the new aluminum case. I'm having to tear the engine down and "Make some repairs"

I'll let you know what I find with the Gol set up.

yellow plastic/nylon blade .just looking at it you would think it would take less hp too turn it over a metal type 1 unit

funny when i posted from work i'm a guest,i think the parts i have are pieces from the photos that avr posted,there in good shape ,i machined the post too accept the type 1 generator,and my neck that fits into the fan housing needs a bit of work.
