Type 4 Engine cases?

Type 4 Engine cases?

Jake/Anybody, i was wondering what code engine case you use to build your type 4 engines or if they are pretty much equal.

GRab a case, hopefully it will be a good one, do the usual checks.
If it looks like a gorilla used a pry bar to open the case, find another one....

IF you want to run carbs and a electric fuel pump(cheaper!), then your best off with
a 2.0L case, as the fuel pump boss/mount hasn't been drilled.

When I'm done there are almost all equal. They are all the same flavor to us- AWESOME!

Haha! I love just lookin' at an aircooled VW motor! I especially like the cooling fins.
