What do you guys think of omni paint?

1. omni paint cleared with omni clear.

2. omni paint cleared with a quality clear like dcu 2021 or something.

I've used Omni paints many times before with good results. It's PPG's "economy" line of paints/clears. There's nothing particularly bad about them but I'd rather spend the money to paint it "right" the first time. It takes the same amount of effort to paint with expensive paints as it does cheap ones.

I wouldn't waste my time with it. I've talked to my local PPG paint wholesaler, and he said as long as you want to repaint it in 6 months use it, otherwise buy the good stuff. I used to work with some of the lower cost stuff, only to have to redo them later, and I've found its not worth it. Buy the good stuff once and be done with it. I've been using Deltron paint without any problems for over the last 8 years. But I'm not to crazy about some of their clears. I've found that their Stratoclear works best though, at least for me and a few others who've tried it.
