Hidden Hinges???

Post by DerrickfromNC »

Does anyone recall if there was a how-to article in a past HOTVW or VWTrend on the fabrication/installation of hidden door hinges or a brand of hinges that would facilitate this modification? :?:

Anyone have pixs on their website?

I got mine from here:

Highly remommended. The prealigned hinges will save you some time and headache to get the top and bottom hinges perfect parallel form each other. Also they have Bear Claw latches as well, alot better then the stock VW latches.

Check out my site: www.runtrod.com I have a few articles on suicide doors on the How To Article section. Of course there's some things you'd need to modify in the instructions if you don't want suicide doors.

Nice Kudel, I may go with those hinges depending on what my body man thinks.

Ghia hinges are hidden ..........has anyone tried to modify these for use on a bug?

I just took the body off my 69 bug and now I need to get my pan cleaned up and restored and painted. Where's a good place to go? I live in Bellflower, CA and there's alot of places. I was thinking ISP west, West Coast Classic or Old Speed. Anyone have a place to recommend from past experiences? Any input would be appreciated.
