Rain gutter suface rust in 76Westy

Rain gutter suface rust in 76Westy

Any thoughts on roof gutter surface rust (no holes).I have a 76 Westy with original paint which is still in overall good conditon, want to get this fixed asap.

Interested to hear what others have done to address this.

I used a 90 grinder(air) and some Scotch Bright dics(fit small sanding arbor). Use the edge of the dics and removed the rust and old seam sealer, then re-sealed with seam sealer. Then prime and paint. you will only remove a narrow path and it will be out of site so you should be able to use a brush to prime and paint the area that was repaired with out painting to whole roof. If you don't all the rust and old sealer out and re-seal the rust will come back.

Very simple fix.

Lift the radiator cap and slide a new car underneath :lol:

Um, oh yeah, no radiator cap. I guess you can't fix it then :shock:
