Has anybody put a fiberglass front end on a street car? I'm looking for some info on what all is needed to install it. I want it to open like a corvette hood. I have the tools to fabricate the hinge setup but I was just looking for some advice from someone with experience.

Will it be a daily driver? I really hope not. They're semi-flimsy and not too safe on accidents. Plus it'll create unwated breeze inside the car since you no longer will have an enclosed trunk. Plus it'll lower the value of your car.
If you really want a 1 piece front end, modify the metal front end you have now into a flip end. Not really done with the VW crowd but I see it once in awhile in Mini Coopers.
