Who make the fiberglass beetle body

Other day i saw in a magazine, a picture of a beetle all made in fiberglass, and i would like to know if you know who make this body cars...

Nobody knows where someone can get a one piece fiberglass bug body? I have been looking for one for a while. I think that Jean Melim might be talking about the new beatle style but I would like to know if there is anyone out there making an air cooled baja style fiberglass body. If anybody could point me in the right direction I would appreciate it.

i think that the body is building somewhere in England...

they used to be made in england by wizard, who have now closed down, don't know where the molds are

hi Jean

wizard made a custom-style 2seater convertible, but i guess the car you are actually looking for is a different one. There was a split window beetle, original style, around in the early nineties. it was produce by simili, a french company. i do not know wether they are still in business or if they completely faded away. i cannot find a webpage of them.

I have access to building an oval body out of fiberglass. It was designed for race. It uses one piece front end etc. I also have these pieces available.It is just a shell out of fiberglass. It uses fiberglass doors etc. It would take some work on your part to fit it to a chassis.

Wizard did make a full fg beetle, but not many ever made it to the road due to the fact that they were a bit wobbly.
DavidW are your molds the wizard ones? How much do you think it would cost to make a beetle body?

I believe the Wizard bodies were made by the same company that did the Pimlico Domino mini bodies, this might be a lead!

I`ve seen one advertised in HVWs for the last couple of yrs featuring chop top. suicide doors, widened fenders and oval window. Was USA made. Good luck. Bob Ingman

The body that I am talking about is on the front cover of august 2000 issue of hot vws. It was designed for a race car so it would need a chassis built for it. I could just supply the body,1 piece front end,doors,rear fenders,w lid.Price would vary depending on what you wanted.

i found the magazine but my scaneer is broken

the body is made by wizard and the car had all the original parts, it is an oval...

after i repair the scaner i put here some pics...
