Not always true. i just got a right front fender (perfect) with turn signal and headlight, driver's mirror, and more. I have also gotten many other hard to find parts there. You just have to hit the right person. I have also had misfires. If you want a sure deal buy fenders from the Thing Shop or Things Unlimited and pay the "going rate" K-mann

Just checked for you and you can have a NOS front Thing fender from the Thing Shop in metal for $325 or fiberglass for $175
Vince at Things Unlimited sells them for
used for $160. Time is money and money is time. K-mann

Our Thing club had a treffen today and one of the owners on the cruise mentioned that he has a perfect set of steel front fenders for $500. Let me know if you are interested. I can hook you up with him if you want his fenders. K-mann
