I am semi new to the FI world of thought so bear with me here

What I am thinking of doing is a CIS (regular K-Jet off a VW Rabbit/Scirroco or Porsche 924 - Whatever the junkyard has) into a 1788 (74x88) T1 engine fitted to a '66 Westfalia Bus.
I have studied the Miller FI pages and it seems that most of this stuff can be "homebrewed" with a little inginuity. Also I have been reading Charles Probst Bosch FI book and Ben Watsons FI book as well, so I kind of have a good understanding of how the system works.
Here is what I am thinking to work from:
- Stock Beetle FI center manifold and throttle body.
- Modified stock aluminum intakes with custom fule injector bungs (push in like they should be).
- Stock 4 cylinder fuel distributor (early design) for regular K-Jet.
- Volvo 240/Audi 100 air intake cover.
- Various stock sensors (WUR, AAV, cold stat injector) modified to fit where necessary.
- Baywindow bus FI fuel tank. Outlets welded for bungs to be used with AN fitting SS/teflon lines.
Now for the questions:
-Will the stock FI Beetle steel intakes accept CIS injectors? Or is it better to custom mount bungs in stock aluminum (carb) intakes?
-What type of installs have people done for the Warm Up Regulator (WUR)?
-Can the cold start injector go right into the Beetle FI center manifold?
Any help is greatly appreciated. I know it is a long post, hopefully I can start asking more pointed questions as I move forward.
Thanks,
