I need some manifolds for putting k jet onto a t1 engine that's in my van (1776 wasserboxer crank kjet came off a 1.8 mk1 gti) a mate suggested using the standard aircooled twin port manifolds and drilling / remoddling them (the sort of thing he can do @ work) so that the injector is mounted on the curve of the manfold pointing into the head so it's almost direct injection. I'm not after huge powergains (engine has stock heads) but a little bit more & the economy of fi would be good.
any ideas?
cheers
steve

Are you a laurie customer or veemotors or a talented DIY'r
The modified stock end casting will give you a fair amount of flow with a homebuilt manifold and VW GTI throttle body (48mm WOT)
not the best but a good start.
Next step, you could use dual barrel manifolds and create a central connecting piece. Have a look at pictures of the manifolds on a 911 kjet for ideas.
