Is there any good cam upgrades to use with a stock L-Jet?
I am doing a rebuild and adding 96mm big bore and am curious about buying a new cam or just refinishing the stock one.
Thanks

Thanks, That's what I am looking for. I don't have any emission requirements here for a '74.
Do I need to specify degrees or will Web #73 be enough info?
Thanks again..

Web-Cam #73 grind works well with D-jet, it gives a nice "bump" in the torque , similar to the stock cams powerband only stronger. The only caution with it on D-jet is that the idle emmission go up, they can be made to pass with some tweaking.
I spoke to a guy using the #73 with L-jet, he said he really liked the cam in his 1.8L and that the L-jet wasn't less affected at idle emmissions.
Hope this helps,
Ed

Just call Web-Cam and tell them that you want a #73 grind, that's all you gotta do. Be sure to get Web-Cam lifters also, they are made specifically for their cams.
