"S" engine specs

Just replaced my 1300 with a 1971dual port 1600 "S" engine. As my current book does not have the settings for this engine and as it is in Australia where they did not have pollution equipment on at that time, I am wondering if this would make any differance re the US settings....eg: points, timing, valves etc.
any help greatly appreciated.

I'm in Australia (Adelaide) and may be able to help, but a better description of the engine might help.

I'm assuming it's a 1600dp (the S bugs originally had these) but does it have a single vacuum distributor, 009 centrifugal or what? And what carby does it have (many Aussie bugs have had the 34PICT/3 replaced with a 30PICT or modern replacement Brosol H30/31 since new 34s cost over $400 here.

The coil is a GT40. carb is PICT 3 . The Diz looks stock with single vacuum and with the last numbers 167 049 then next line 205 A7.. made in Oz.
