There must be a shortcut to get the floor pan in. Is there a site that explains a way to get a whole section of floor pan in?
Also my pedal assembly was taken out and I am having trouble getting the clutch line back on the hook. What makes it worse is that my wingnut in the back is frozen.
If anyone see's a good deal on a driver side heater channel, tell me about it please.
Thanks
~~Chris

Chris, Welcome to the wonderful world of VW rust repair. Really, there is no short-cut. With these cars, the "cheap short-cut" almost always costs more and takes longer; because you have to do it again, the right way. So do it the right way the first time.
The "Bug-Me" video for floor pans shows you how to do the replacement. It is well worth it. But if you're in a hurry, a couple of folks here have links to sites describing what you want to do. Try searching for "floorpans".

I need the whole driver side heater channel.
But, I'm not ready for it now...I don't have the money now to install it or have it installed. I'm looking to get it done around Febuary.
