5.5 or 4.5 in. wide stock wheels for a 70 bay?

Im gonna go with some new stock chromies for my 70 bay window. I dont know what width I have on there now, but one shop tells me 4.5 and another tells me 5.5.
Anyone know? Does it really even matter?
Was thinking of throwing 4.5s in front and the 5.5s in rear.

four and a half is a 15" bug width. 14x5 1/2" is bus. Good luck with the chromes and KEEP them babies waxed. Bob Ingman

The bus 14" is 4.5".
The bus 15" is 5.5".
I know for a fact this is true, since I was wrong on it a while ago and I had a buddy measure them back to back.
As for the Beetles I think they were all 4.5".
