Bus Question???

Hello, I have a 79 Fi 2.0 bus with the overhead DPD a/c unit. I need to get a new compressor for it but do not want to go with the york compressor. Does anyone sell a kit to retrofit a different more modern compressor for it. I know where to get a compressor but cannot find a bracket system to bolt it on.I also need to find a different pulley for the crankshaft as well. Any help here would be great. Thanx

What type of bracket are you looking for?? I've got a local yard which currently has 3 core engines in a pile with the A/C brackets and pulleys still in place. If you ca give a description of what you're needing, I may be able to dig something up. E-mail me with the particulars. . .
