Hi guys I was just wondering if I can put early lowback seats on my 77 bus because I realy dont like my seats and head rests. This is another ? but I was wondering how much mods if any I would need to do to get the camper side pop out windows to fit on my 77 ?
Thank you,
Chris.

Assuming you don't have a panel van, you should be able to replace your windows with vented camper windows easily. They fit in the same opening, just a matter of install. Probably good idea to get new seals, most of the online vendors sell seals for the louvred windows.
Not sure about the seats, I'd say check out the mounts at a wrecker. the mounts for the driver's side on my 75 are partly welded on, and I don't know if they are the same in a 77, and on the passenger side, its a few bolt on pieces, the seat doesn't adjust at all.

Up to 71 bay busses came with lowback seats, these will probably be your best bet. May need some adjusting but not sure.

Hi guys thanx alot for the info but I now have another question to ask. I was looking at my quarter pop out windows on my 77 and on the 2 that are on the left side of the bus there is alot of rust under the ruber. On the rear quarter pop out the vent window is just hooked by the top and the botten is just sitting there. So I was wondering if there is a vent window frame there that I can take out and replace or do I have to do some welding??
Thanx Alot Guys for the help,
Chris.
