Cup holder problem finally solved

Post by Torkwerks »

For years I searched for a way to drive my Bug while enjoying a nice coffee, I tried most of the solutions available on the market. They all failed. So, I decided to do something about it.

I designed and manufactured a new beverage holder that does not move around, does not spill my drink, requires no drilling of holes in my bug, and uses OEM hardware to install.

I now have the pleasure to offer this amazing new cup holder to everyone. You can get yours at torkwerks.com

Pretty nice!

The only thing I would be concerned with is if the single bolt mounting the shifter loosened up allowing the cup mount to rotate.

The first pix scared the pudding out of me. It looked, from a quick glance, that the cup holder was in the tunnel blocking off the ability to remove the shift rod. Too early in the morning to look at new designs, I guess!

Hi, I agree! Right away with the first pic I envisioned there would be TWO holes for the mounting bolts/screws. Then it could not rotate.
Great idea!
