Finally got it onto the dyno. Its a stock K20z3 with matching 6 speed transmission. Made 170 whp it sounds great, made me smile. Planning 1 season with it NA, then will put the turbo on and go for that 9 second run

The K20Z3 is on heck of a power plant. What RPM are you taking it to? I ask because 170 whp seems a little low. We have a 2007 Si where I work that makes 200 whp at 8K rpm (stock rev limit is 8200). I assume you're using Hondata to tune the PCM.

RPM was to 8000, the VTC solenoid was being lazy, so it never got to more than 22 VTC angle on the camshaft. It also had the stock exhaust manifold on it, which has now been changed to a Ktuned 1-3/4 header, and I added a 70mm Throttle body. Have AEM infinity controlling it.

this time Made 213 WHP with this stock K20 and bolt ons. The track cancelled racing because of rain otherwise I would have had some timeslips too. Next racing is June 13 which I plan to be at.

Got to autocross it and had a blast. The VTC camshaft control stopped working so its down on power, but still alot of fun to drive as is. All the tracks are shut down now, so look forward to putting on the turbo over the winter

What are you using for a transmission? I was thinking about doing a K engine in my Bradley, but not sure a Rancho beetle transmission would hold up.

it's the stock 6 speed from the civic. I mounted the complete subframe with engine/ transmission in the beetle

Love the K20, great to see it run! 213 WHP for a 2 liter is really good! Thats about 245 crank hp!
