High pressure fuel regulator suggestions?

Need a fuel pressure regulator that can run at 85-95 psi, this is replacing a NLA oem regulator on cis-e and cis-m systems.

Any used regulator (or even NOS) is highly suspect at this point in history, as I had two known good units sqirrelled away, both started leaking through the diaphagm>vent port within a few hours of use. Old rubber is old rubber, even if only sitting on a shelf.

Something oem preferred, or at least oe reliability.
Adjustable would be handy as the pressure specs for these systems vary a little.
Addendum to Newtons first law:
zero vehicles on jackstands, square gets a fresh 090 and 1911, cabby gets a blower.
EZ3.6 Vanagon after that.(mounted, needs everything finished) then Creamsicle.

I’ll probably be going with Malpassi.

They used to be the default option for a quality pressure regulator if feeding Weber carbs at low PSI.

They also do a range of EFI pressure regulators. 5 bar or even higher options.

The AIR004 does up to 5 bar adjustable and has 8mm push on hose tails. Again, plenty of other versions available.

I would have a look at some of the Fuel pressure regulators used for mechanical fuel pumps in drag cars as some of them run silly high base pressures

The AIR-008 looks like a winner.
Have considered 4bar and 4bar adjustable VAG cartridge regs in series the stand alone holders.

Well you could try one of the VAG filter/regulators which are available in all sorts of pressures - I personally use the 3 bar and occasionally 4 bar and I have a 5 bar on the shelf also have seen 6.6 and 6.8 bar - they are $20

Thanks Paul. Interesting suggestion.

What do you use the secure the hose?
The oem solution uses the clip on connectors that lock on. With a smooth pipe on the filter/reg how do you keep the hose from blowing off without the OEM connector?

The fittings are available they have an O ring seal and a clip that locks onto the collar. Use 8mm or 5/16 hose . You can even get fancy metal ones

You can actually get the quick connects at any parts store...in nylon with barbs on the hose end to work with nylon or rubber efi line.
I'm working on minor adaption that should be 3F compatible(form/fit/function), and run at the proper pressure, really needed for CIS-E or -M...
Hopefully get to it this weekend.

cut up a leaky cis-m regulator, mostly for the fittings, needed for my evil plan.
Sad they arent realistically rebuildable.

Creating the "sealoff" in a std aftermarket regulator that doesnt provide it by design will require a solenoid valve to seal off the return from the top of the fuel chamber so the system can hold pressure of ~30 psi as they should.
The original cis-e/m regulators have a foot valve that seals everything off at 25-35 psi.
(thats what the hex in the outlet actually adjusts--- the holding pressure spring seat, to the fuel return line)

I will try and get a good cutaway from it, or at least a proper diagram, the one in the Bosch cise/m book leaves that tidbit out.

...hmmm... have to process that a bit as to what it really does.
