External waste gate identification or info

Good morning folks. Trying to get a waste gate on my baja turbo set up. The internal waste gate actuator that bugguy so kindly sent me is going to be a bit more trouble to put on than I first thought. It seems that when I first got the notion to put a turbo on my baja while making flanges and trying to figure where to put the turbo I reclocked the the turbo to fit my needs. Now the waste gate lever is on the other side of the turbo . So yesterday I find this external waste gate and pick it up for very cheap. It came of a honda b16 exhaust manifold. Can anyone ID this wastegate brand /style ,type any info would sure be appreciated to help me find replacement parts and instructions. Did I make a bad buy and purchase a crappy Chinese knock off ? or was this a good buy for 30 bucks that's 30 Canadian dollars haha so about 20 usd.

Looks like cheap chinese to me ,,they do work but you know u can get a brand spankin new one for about $50 i have one on my sandrail

well poop it does seem like a nice quality one guess not. My bad I maybe on the hunt for a new one I guess. dirty rotten cotton picking impulse buying I should know better

What parts do you need for it? I'd run it!

I don't know yet ha ha Will have to put a pressure pump and vacuum pump on it to see if it even works. going to take it apart and inspect tonight. It has a banjo fitting on the side and a small barb on top. I will need to figure what goes where. The poppet or ball valve on the exhaust side does move but does not seal should this seal airtight? or does it need vacumm /boost to seal? should know more on inspection

I found in my stash one just like it
they are a copy of the famous 'Tial"
to test just put a little air to the port on the SIDE, valve should open should not be able to see any air gaps around the valve when it's closed
also see the valve 'seat' wired to the copy , sometimes on used gates they get lost

Thanks for the info madmike. I did find out yesterday that it is missing the "fire ring" or seat ..... so it will not hold the exhaust pressure. I don't think it is worth trying to find one for it. oh well one step forward two back I will see if I can find a good quality used one and failing that I will just get a new knockoff .....dang those are pricey for a good brand name just saw your picture not exactly the same one but close. is yours up for sale ?
