I'm Mike but Red is fine, I have always loved VW's when in Europe for 9 yrs I used to race them on a dirt flat track. But I have been out of the loop for many years since then. I currently obtained a VW Trike, now I know this isn't a trike forum, but my interest here is the engine that I have, its a 1972, Type 4, 1700cc, Dual Port. Not sure what vehicle this engine came from it has been titled as a trike, Most of the information I have is from the numbers on the engine.
