As I put the finishing touches on the 2110, I am being told that I must run a shim behind my new crankshaft pulley to avoid pulling the pulley too close to the case while being torqued. Measuring the flange on the pulley, the sand seal collar, and the depth on the case to reach the crankshaft head I would need a 4mm shim.
Although this sounds logical as a newbee I was hoping to receive some input from the forum of experts.

....and you'll most likely need to use one on the alt/gen pulley too in order to maintain belt alignment. Empi/Bugpack makes this one (dunno for sure if it's that thick):
