Calculating cc per Ve table

Post by luftvagon »

How do you calculate (base) cc/min for specific engine condition?
IE:
Req Fuel: 16.7ms with 2 squirts per cycle (8.35ms), 1000 RPM at 46% VE.
1981 Volkswagen Vanagon Westfalia - air-cooled Type4 1970cc CV (hydraulic lifters, 42x36 valves, stock cam, microSquirt FI)

It's not only the VE table that determines fuel demand... Temperature, various adders, EAE if enabled all have a large effect.

Just use Tuner Studio and if you give it correct injector flow info it will tell you your fuel consumption in ~10 different formats, from cc/min to MPG average over time.

If you are trying to reverse engineer what LJet is doing you are only going to get so close... And using LJet as a reference is a poor bet if you are looking for some sort of ideal setup.
Addendum to Newtons first law:
zero vehicles on jackstands, square gets a fresh 090 and 1911, cabby gets a blower.
EZ3.6 Vanagon after that.(mounted, needs everything finished) then Creamsicle.

Yep.. i remembered last night there is GPH calculation. I got it all calculated, and surprisingly, I nailed it. The warmup enrichment, and ASE are on-par to the stock L-Jet now..
