ok i have a
head unit
http://www.kenwoodusa.com/Car_Entertain ... ent/DDX318
4 channel amp
http://carkart.com/index.php?route=prod ... 7AodtH8AHA
one mono amp
https://www.google.com/shopping/product ... CDcQ8wIwAQ
1 set of hertz tweets and mids in front
set of just mids for rear doors
http://www.woofersetc.com/p-9612-hsk-16 ... ystem.aspx
^^^^ they are not the hi energy like the front
one sub
http://www.performancecaraudio.com.au/p ... subwoofer/
now my prob is my head unit has two rca outs
one front
the other is rear or sub out
im using the crunch to play front doors and rear doors
how do i hook up the sub amp without a cross over??
the whole reason for this is my old Eclipse headunit died
it had 3 rca outputs one just for the sub amp
this is already installed in my monster 4runner --im just trying to fig this out --and im short on coffee
got the kenwood headunit for free so its what i have to use as of now unless i break down and buy a high end headunit with outputs
any links or clues
thx guys

Re: hhhmmmm amp hook up help
looking at the specs of the head unit it has built in crossover. So just hook up the RCA from the rear out to the sub amp. Then do the cross over setting in the head unit.
or
You can Y the front outputs but you will loose front to rear fade. But this is good cause it gives you the ability to adjust volume of the sub via the front to rear fade in the head unit.
Thats the cheapest way.
The way I would do it, cause I want to be able to fade, I would buy a good cross over that has 1 in and 2 outs low high pass
something like this
