Any preference for IRS Diff Carrier Bearings?

Doing some planning for a possible IRS Trans freshening this Winter, and was gathering info on bearings. I'd use a new F A G Pinion Bearing, and a new F A G Mainshaft Bearing, but does anyone have any preference for Diff Carrier Bearings? I've located ones from F A G, Timken, and SKF. I seem to remember reading SKF Pinion Bearings seam to gaul easier than their F A G counterparts. Any good/bad experiences with Carrier Bearings?

I like the SKF bearings, but use FAG just as often. Whichever bearing you use, make certain it has the proper chamfer on the ID to match the chamfer on the diff. I've seen many Timkens that didn't have enough chamfer to press all the way onto the diff (because they were not a diff-specific bearing).

Thanks for the heads up about the chamfer, that's something I wouldn't of thought about. Maybe I'll just get a set of each, and check them out. I have noticed a difference in the smoothness of an inexpensive bearing compaired to a higher quality, more expensive one. Thanks!
