distributor vacuum hose question
Hi all I have a SVDA distributor and dual single choke 34 carbs but do I connect the distributor vacuum line to one or both of the carbs cheers

You can hook it up either way, both carbs if tuned correctly will have the same amount of vacuum so teeing in will not increase the vacuum. I would tee it if it was mine.

I'd tee it too, that way it's getting the usual 2 pulses per revolution rather than just one. No extra amount of vacuum, just more even pulses to the vac can, so the points plate should hold more steady.
The firing order means you get 2 cylinder on one side firing then 2 on the other side (think 4,3, then 2,1 cylinders - that's just 1432 moved around 90 degrees on the distributor). With only one carb vacuum port used, you get two pulses then nothing, then 2 then nothing - very uneven vacuum signal.
