Hi all from Tampa. I am a long time lurker and have been planning on getting my first car back on the road. I have been in the process of moving and rebuilding my 4x4 Toyota for the last year. With those projects almost in my rear view I am starting to gather intel to get my '73 1303 back up and going. It was stripped and all rust repair done to body and chassis. Threw in a few custom metal touches and then I got distracted. It has sat in my storage building for 10 years! Hope to move the chassis over to my garage by Jan to start getting it finished with new suspension, brakes, line-x and mods for Subaru conversion. Then send it to interior and paint. I have a pretty good budget of 20k and would like to complete it by spring 2015.
I will start a thread for it as we get closer to moving it into my new 3 car garage/shop.

Welcome to the STF!
Sounds like you have a realistic budget and general outlook, looking forwards to watching the build!

Addendum to Newtons first law:
zero vehicles on jackstands, square gets a fresh 090 and 1911, cabby gets a blower.
EZ3.6 Vanagon after that.(mounted, needs everything finished) then Creamsicle.
