New clutch problems! Rlr black magic.
I just put a Kennedy stage 2, 2200psi pressure plate with a Ron lummus black magic clutch in my turbo bug. I had a stock clutch and it wouldn't hold at all. Now, when I go to take off the car hops like crazy. Almost like wheel hop. After I get going past the jumping the clutch is awesome. Anyone have any idea what the problem is?

Well, stop wheel hopping the car unless you like broken axles -- -- the cure -- stiffer torsion bars (min 28 better 31) and a set of QA1's multi adjustables shocks from Lumus -- the price of HP
I always had stuff falling off from hop

took me a minute to figure out that picture! awesome.
As for wheel hop, solid mounts are what fixed mine once* and for all. I had already caged the car, and tied the frame horns to the rear bumper/cage. those helped, as well as the rear engine hanger, but the solid mount was the nail in the coffin for sure. Mine was SA.
*cheap solid mount came loose twice before it "settled in" to its final shape and held torque.

give a man a watch and he'll allways know what time it is. give him two and he can never be sure again.

It's a cable clutch. The more I drive it the better it seems to be doing on the takeoff

Did you have the flywheel surfaced? If not, the disc is going to take awhile to break itself in. I had one that would slip a bit before it wore itself in. They are great discs and grab well, car would do second gear wheelies.

If it is actually wheel hop then you will need a solid trans mount as said above and get some kind of Kafer brace. At that point you can figure out how to deal with your suspension issues. There are plenty of people who have made stock torsions work. Controlling the suspension travel and rebound is the key.

I read recently FJCamper reported similar sounding issue on the Blitzwagen, traced to a nonstd cause:
...issue with a brand new clutch/PP combo-- rivets on PP interfering with rivets on disc.

Addendum to Newtons first law:
zero vehicles on jackstands, square gets a fresh 090 and 1911, cabby gets a blower.
EZ3.6 Vanagon after that.(mounted, needs everything finished) then Creamsicle.

I've heard the black magic can chatter like a bitch on the road, especially when new. My trans builder recommended to not use one for that reason. he did recommend them for drag though.
