Weber Carb dimensions help: get out the calipers!

Post by slowsixtyduece »

Hey all, I have been scouring the web for blueprint-type dimensions of the Weber carbs we so often use. For those of you that have at least one Weber 40 idf or 44 idf or 48 IDA sitting on your bench, would you mind taking some measurements for me? I would like to eventually have the dimensions for all three carbs if possible.

Please take a look at the attached picture (drawn pic is seen as looking at the base of the carbs from an upside-down position, dead on).

I need the measurements for A through E in Millimeters please:

Thanks!

Here is a drawing a friend made for his project. Myself I would just copy the flange dimensions out of a Tomlinson book.

Yeah some may call it overkill, but you can't have too much overkill.

A little late . I have a pair of side draft manifolds on my bench , and a vernier.

a=90mm
b=45mm
c=45.01mm
d=72.25mm
e= 153.8mm

OR = found this ,- Jenvey sell replacement throttle bodies and do a pdf of their dimensions:

have fun.
