Parts score.

Post by iavwguy »

Just scored a brand new pair off Rossi headlights still new in the box for a mear 25.00 bucks  . Also got a old Hurst shifter for a bug for 20.00 bucks. I needed to tell someone that understands because my wife said " big deal you brought more junk home".

Score!

Tell here you saw some Gucci handbags there too.
Addendum to Newtons first law:
zero vehicles on jackstands, square gets a fresh 090 and 1911, cabby gets a blower.
EZ3.6 Vanagon after that.(mounted, needs everything finished) then Creamsicle.

If you fail to reach her, I'll be happy to take the Rossis off your hands. They aren't as popular as they once were, but it's a personal-taste thing and personally I like them.

Show her how nice they look installed - here's my daily driver under construction:

I'm not so crazy about Hurst shifters, but there aren't many aftermarket shifters that I prefer over stock - and a genuine Hurst, even if it needs a little TLC, is worth 'way more than $20.

I put them on my project bug and she did like them better than the stock lights so all is good at home. I think she was just giving me a hard time because I just picked up my transaxle last week after having it built to hold up to the 2110 turbo engine and she said she could have bought a lot of shoes for that much money.
