Mounting a second baro?

Post by Max Welton »

I just posted this over at

http://www.msextra.com/forums/viewtopic ... 01&t=45568

... but I either have to get this done tonight or button it back up and put it back in the car without the 2nd baro.

===

I have an MPX4250AP-WS, a V3.57M SMD MB, and some 1K resistors.

I have read the little section at http://www.megamanual.com/ms2/install.htm#baro, but am still a little lost.

Which pin on the sensor is #1?
Where are the "proto area", JS5, SG and S5 locations on the MB?

These MB pictures are fairly large...

You can mount it wherever you want, just add some jumper wires.

There are many soldering guides online. Check / google "smt soldering" guides. You aren't doing surface mount technology w that through hole sensor, but the prep work and methods apply.
