Figured I would post a build thread. After countless miles in barstow, lucerne, and who knows where else it was time to update the old 11. This car was only raced in the MORE series and has been beaten and punished for years. Here is what it looked like before:

The tear down. Why is destroying things so fun...

Fast forward to taking the body off and started cleaning up for the new pans.

The main focus I want on this rebuild is to keep the weight down. Also will be upgrading to the new rear shocks with the 2.5 reservoirs. Here is more of what I have done so far.

The pan was cleaned up and got the lower cage done.

Put the car on its side so i could weld the bottom of the tubes up and plated the rear torsion housing up also.

After that was done I cleaned up the pan even more from old cage mounting points and such and painted underneath and other parts of the pan. Beam was also pulled off and painted. The arms will be painted when I do the balljoints later on. Also got some brake lines run. Here it is ready for the body:

Nice build. What are your plans for post-build? Still racing, and if so, what series?

Yes the rear arms are boxed. We bought a kit for them way back and I believe they are 1/8 also.

Still going to be racing MORE. Maybe others also.

Here it is with the body put on. A lot of work to be done still. This is where I am at now and hopefully this weekend get started on the cage or just cleaning up the body.

I wish I could see the pictures. All I get to see is a small box with a small red X in it.
