wiring up 914 tach turn signal lights
Okay so I put the tach in the car and it's all good, but when the key is switched to on the turn signal lights come on and the flasher relay buzzes like crazy. After studying my cars wiring diagram and the stock speedo (1971 super beetle), i think i get why it's happening. I think i need a plastic bulb holder or something like the stock speedo has for the gen, oil, and turn lights. Is that how everyone else wires it up?

bump
I think i know what i need to do, but i don't know how to do it...
on the stock speedo, the idiot lights and turn signal lights are all fixed in a plastic part with a common power source, so are there bulb holders with 2 prongs that fit the 914 holes so i can put 12v and the signal for it (ground)???

okay, so this is what i'm talking about, but i think they're too big to fit in the 914 gauge bulb holes
