Hi all!! I just got a 64 for my son. it has been kinda made into a baja. I have never had a bug older than 68. there is a knob to the right of the shifter and I was wondering what it is supposed to do.

They changed the heat controls to the levers in 65, prior to that was a rotary knob. At least I think that was the year, if wrong, someone will correct.
