How do you post a pic when it says that it is too big to be added to the post?

This is from the type I forum and is pretty accurate. I reduce mine to 640 X 480 which still gives a lot of definition.
There are many hosting sites also like Photo bucket that have the ability to help you reduce the size of your photos.
Get busy, there is a motto here, if you don't post picture or it (what ever you are talking about)... it didn't happen (just joking

I use Photobucket, a free photo service. First get the photo downloaded there. Once it's there, then hit CTRL C on your computer.
Then go to shoptalk and start or add to a message. Hit Img then hit CTRL V and hit Submit. Right now I see the URL at the top of my screen. If this works, once I go back to shoptalk I should see a picture of my bug.
