what other seats from volkswagen can fit within a 1971 convertible karmann ghia?

With no modification only the ghia sedan, all others have different rails. I don't recall when the pans changed but I'm certain '60 to '70 are the same rails. Later they got wider (starting in 72? 73?) but the interchange is still limited to sedans & convertibles.
