unless something changes. The guy that I was going to have paint my car told me a month ago that he was ready for my car, then when I called about towing it over he said to wait until he calls. . . a month later, I can take a hint. Soooo, I'm going to leap back into it and paint it myself, just need cooperation from the weather so I can prep the garage. Frickin' temperature keeps going up and down from 40 to 60 degrees F, that and the rain. If I could just get some near 60 degree, dry days I'd be a happy camper.

I plan on using an EVOT-4000 gun and spraying PPG epoxy primer, with Omni base coat and a couple of clears.

That'll work. Gotta be above 50 degrees. Would be better at 70 degrees. Is it ever that warm in MN?

Once in a while, Doc. What I hate about it is the bugs. Around 50 degrees, during the day, there are way fewer flying contaminants. Once it gets above that, sometimes I have to burn citronella candles in the garage in order to do anything.

Wife thinks I'm going to get stressed out if I paint it myself, so I'm going to give another "test call".

Bugs are a real drag when you paint.

First time I painted it I waited until the temps were running regularly in the 50's and below, at night. Then the process went something like this: run the heater, shut it off, spray, lift garage doors and run fans until I reached my flash times - repeat.

BTW, paint guy says the weather is supposed to straighten out and we're on for towing it over this saturday.
