Hey guys, I skimmed the forums and couldn't find info on helmet radios so I though I'd post.
My navigator and I will be racing long distance rallies and my car is really loud, road and engine noise. I was wondering if anyone had suggestions on open-faced helmets with two-way radios already built in, or radios I could just buy and wire in myself?
Has anyone tried a comfortable product? Maybe one with noise cancellation?
cheers,
~Steve

Just a idea..... Look at motorcycle systems...... It's a pretty common item in MC world....
if its just between driver and navigator maybe just "intercom" is all that is necessary....... Radios (systems) tend to be more expensive and complicated....

Ditto on the intercom. If you're both plugging in, there is less potential for interference and such, too.Dale M. wrote: if its just between driver and navigator maybe just "intercom" is all that is necessary....... Radios (systems) tend to be more expensive and complicated....

Have you looked at Peltors? Take a trip over to www.specialstage.com (rally forum), you'll find all the info you could ever want on this subject.
