Whats an acceptable hot oil pressure to have on a used but stock engine???
20-30psi??? at tickover...
should it be checked at 2000rpm?

Rule of thumb is bare minimum 10psi per 1000rpm.
If you have 20-30psi when hot then no worries there.
Realistically you can have next to no oil pressure at idle as there is no real load on the engine.
