Just got back from a year in Japan. I wanted to share some of the VW's I saw there.

Last weekend was my Birthday so I went to somewhere I have wanted to go to for a long time. Jeffery's VW in Osaka. I got to meet "Jeffery" and some of his shop staff. Super cool guys and really friendly. He even gave me a video of his race car but I have to convert it from PAL NTSC format. Anyways onto the pictures.
As soon as I saw this car I knew I was at the right place.

Close up of front air dam. I really wanted to bring one of these back.

So many custom bits on this car. He didnt tell me what car these brakes where from be he did say they were "hand made".
Image
Closeup of the Engine. He said around 200hp 2.4 litre.
Image
This guy is really skilled with fiberglass as you can see in his fenders, bumpers, decklid, rear wings etc etc...
Image
Interior shot. Porsche style dash, innovative wideband O2 monitor recaros etc. etc. He started it up for me to hear it run. Ill try and put the video on youtube.

Some views of the shop. All the major tuners in Japan actually have very small small shops compared to western standards but they make effecient use of their space.
Image
Gear box assembly area. He swears by berg 5 saying porsche gearboxes are too big and too heavy.
Image
Loads of trophies from racing and car show. He also showed me tons of magazines his cars have been featured in. Mostly Japanese mags, some french and UK mags too.

Camber Plates for Supers.

The race car.

Modified steering tube angle for racing.
Image
Modified centre tunnel for foot rest. I really liked this mod.

Close up of racing running boards to help devert air flow.

Great photos! Not sure about that rear wing though. That bus needs some disk brakes in those Porsche wheels!

I am also in dire need of a set of those camber plates. Contact info. of the tuning shop??

Great pics, love the front dam and running boards.

When you say you can't wait to get the motor in the back, what exactly are you doing to it?

I didnt get a price on the camber plates, but they look they are manufatured elsewhere. If I were to make a set of camber plates again I would modify some that were made for a different car.

Motor is a EJ20H subaru twin turbo that is going in the back of my 1303 :D
